"According to AICN, Bryan Fuller (HEROES) and Bryan Singer (X-MEN) are talking about pooling their respective talents to bring forth a brand new STAR TREK TV Series.
Both Bryan’s are currently working together on MOCKINGBIRD LANE, so the possibility of a new series stemming from their current partnership is not out of the question.
Interestingly, Fuller has previously expressed interest at doing a STAR TREK series set in the timeline of J.J. Abrams’ movies. Singer on the other hand has expressed interest in doing a series in the far future which is easily and by far my personal preference.
Finger’s crossed this goes from entertainment newsworthy rumor to a fully fledged new ST series."
